What is RoboCupJunior?
RoboCupJunior is one of the world's largest educational robotics initiatives for students up to the age of 19.
Founded in 2000, it combines robotics, programming, engineering, and teamwork through exciting real-world challenges.
Participants progress from regional qualifying events to national championships and, ultimately, international competitions, where students from around the globe showcase their skills.

All you need to know for your competition...
We recommend using the Competition Management System (CMS), which was specifically designed for hosting RoboCupJunior competitions. The CMS is publicly available on GitHub. You can either host it yourself, or we can host it for you.
The CMS is ideal for competition management, allowing you to plan your arenas, create and manage score sheets and create scoring tables.

You can take a look at our guide below for planning how many arenas you need. These are our recommended quantities of materials, but these can, of course, vary depending on your individual needs. If you need further assistance or would like to discuss your requirements with us, please do not hesitate to contact us!
We recommend the following maximum number of teams per arena per day: These numbers are calculated with a two-hour lunch break, but do not allow time for reconstructing the arenas. If you want to rebuild the arenas in the middle of the day to fit in more runs, We recommend using the following formula to calculate the maximum number of teams: maximum number of teams = (the number of teams in the table below / 2).
If you are setting up the arenas using our competition kits, we recommend that you purchase the number of kits required plus one extra. This gives you more flexibility when planning your arenas and allows you to be more creative. Depending on the level of your competition and/or your plans, it might make sense to buy more or fewer additional arenas. If you would like our advice on this, please feel free to contact us!
