On October 9 and 10, rosslight robotics exhibited at JOBFACTORY in Rostock, one of the region’s largest career and education fairs. Over two exciting days, we had the opportunity to introduce students, teachers, and visitors to the world of educational robotics and showcase how technology can be integrated into the classroom in a practical and engaging way.

Robotics in Action

A highlight at our booth were our Line Following Arenas, where visitors could experience our MiBo robots in action. Throughout the event, students and teachers gathered around the arenas to watch the robots autonomously follow their tracks, sparking curiosity and conversations about robotics, programming, and STEM education.

The hands-on demonstrations provided a glimpse into how robotics can make technical concepts more tangible and accessible for young learners.

Fully Booked Robotics Workshops

A special highlight of the fair was our robotics workshop, which took place twice on Friday. The sessions were led by Thomas Hollmann, teacher at CJD Jugenddorf-Christophorusschule in Rostock, who guided interested students and teachers through their first programming challenges.

The goal was simple: give participants a practical introduction to robotics and programming within a short amount of time. By the end of each workshop, every participant had successfully programmed a robot and watched it complete its task on the arena.

Seeing beginners achieve their first programming success within such a short time perfectly demonstrated what our educational concept is all about: lowering the barriers to technology and making robotics accessible to everyone.

Presenting Our Vision on the Career Stage

Another memorable moment was the opportunity to present rosslight robotics on the JOBFACTORY career stage.

Together, Alex and Natascha introduced the company and shared our vision with the audience and attending educators. The presentation focused on our mission to make robotics easy to implement in schools and classrooms, enabling educators to bring programming, electronics, and engineering topics into lessons without unnecessary complexity.

Our goal is clear: inspire students at an early age, foster technical skills through hands-on learning, and help develop the engineers of tomorrow.

Thank You for Visiting

We would like to thank everyone who visited our booth, participated in our workshops, and joined us during our stage presentation. The enthusiasm, questions, and interest we experienced throughout the event once again showed how important practical STEM education is for the next generation.

We are already looking forward to returning next year with new ideas, new projects, and even more opportunities to discover robotics together.
